When Marcos and I set up Surrey Family Vets, we wanted to create the kind of practice we would want to take our own pets to.

We are a husband-and-wife veterinary team and being a family practice means more to us than simply being a family ourselves. It means getting to know our patients and the people who look after them.

Getting to know your pet

Every animal is different and the more we know about a patient, the better we can look after them.

That is one reason our consultations are 20 minutes long. It gives us time to examine your pet properly, talk to you about what’s been happening and get to know what is normal for them.

We also like following our patients throughout their lives, from puppies and kittens through to the different needs that come with getting older.

Marcos is an RCVS Recognised Advanced Practitioner in Small Animal Surgery and carries out advanced soft tissue and orthopaedic surgery, as well as keyhole procedures.

I have a postgraduate qualification in Small Animal Ophthalmology and experience working in an ophthalmology referral centre.

For us, Surrey Family Vets is about providing very good veterinary care, taking the time to know the animals we look after and hopefully being their vets for many years to come.
