Vet visits can bring unfamiliar people, smells, sounds and other animals. That’s why our Guildford practice has been designed to feel quieter and calmer, with a separate waiting area for cats and a team trained to recognise and reduce stress.
We’re proud to be a Silver accredited Cat Friendly Clinic and an accredited Dog Friendly Clinic—independent recognition of our thoughtful, gentle approach.
Cat Friendly Care
Cats experience the world differently from dogs and can be especially sensitive to unfamiliar sights, sounds and smells.
Our dedicated cat waiting area gives feline patients a quieter place away from dogs. Our cat ward is completely separate from the dog ward, giving cats a calm, peaceful space to rest and recover away from dogs. Combined with gentle handling and time to settle, it helps make the whole visit—from arrival to recovery—more comfortable.
We’re also happy to help you make travelling and future vet visits easier for your cat.

Dog Friendly Care
The Dog Friendly Clinic Scheme was established by Dogs Trust and the British Veterinary Behaviour Association to make veterinary care more comfortable for dogs and their owners.
Our team has undertaken dedicated training in dog-friendly care. We listen to each dog’s behaviour and body language, giving nervous dogs more time and space and adapting our approach to the individual.
Keeping cats and dogs apart where possible also reduces stressful encounters and creates a calmer waiting environment for everyone.
